CCD & RCIC
Sacred Heart's CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine) and RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children) are designed to help your children grow spiritually, build community, and learn moral values. The program includes interactive lessons, group discussions, and community service projects.
Our program runs from September through April and is open to children in grades 1-8 and meets every Wednesday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. High school students meet every other Wednesday at 7 p.m. with Mr. Daniel Burnham in the Meeting Center.
Our in-person registration event will take place the weekend of August 22 and 23rd, after each Mass. We request a fee of $30.00 per student. If you missed the in-person registration, please download the registration & calendar below & drop it off at the Registry Office, Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m. -4:30 p.m. Late registration may result in your child's inability to participate in the program.
We encourage you to register early to secure your child's spot and allow us to plan effectively for the upcoming year. Thank you for being an example of faith to your children. We look forward to welcoming your child to our program and helping them grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially.

Rite/Order of Christian Initiation of Adults
OCIA, formerly known as RCIA, is the Catholic Church's process for welcoming new members, both those who have never been baptized and those who have been baptized in other Christian traditions. It involves a period of learning about the church's beliefs, practices, and life, as well as spiritual reflection and prayer. The process culminates in the reception of the sacraments of initiation, making the individual a full member of the Catholic Church. Our OCIA program meets on Monday nights at 7 pm. from September through Easter.
OCIA registration for those wishing to be fully initiated into the Roman Catholic Church will take place the weekend of Saturday, August 22, and Sunday, August 23, after each Mass. If you are not able to attend the in-person registration event, please contact Rev. Timothy Farrell. There is no cost to attend. Classes will begin on Monday, Sept. 14, in the Church. Most weeks, OCIA meets in the Family Center at 7 p.m. on Mondays. When you sign up on the weekend of Aug. 22 and 23, you will also receive a full-year schedule of classes.
